Junior Bowls Pairs Knockout Handicap
Held at Queens Park, Heywood
Winners - Calvin Marlor & Daniel Geldart
Thirty two juniors took part in the event and the quality of the bowling was a credit to the youngsters and enjoyed by a good crowd of spectators. Whilst the semi-finals were enjoyable and sportingly contested, the Final in particular held the attention of the spectators throughout, with regular applause for some excellent bowling from all four players. The winning pair was Calvin Marlor & Daniel Geldart (Queen's Park) with a score of 21 - 19 over Shantelle Harvey & Jack Lindsay (Thistleyfield). Well done to all who took part.
